A-Marque
This
lovely doll is one of the rarest dolls. The face was taken from
a sculpture by Albert Marque. The clothes were couture made
by some of Frances top designers of that time.
This doll is 16 “ tall.
- She has
glass paperweight eyes.
- The body is in the original design of the A-marque.
- Her
lower arms and lower legs are porcelain. The rest is composition.
The body is all handmade.
- Her underwear
is cotton batiste with cotton lace and silk ribbon.
- Her dress is a copy of one of the original dresses. Blue silk taffeta, with cotton netting, silk ribbon and silk flower trim.
